Alexland: About
Alexland is a two-dimensional shooter written in the Pascal programming language, compiled using Free Pascal Compiler v.2.1.4. The game uses JEDI-SDL units - pascal translations of SDL libraries: SDL, SDL_ttf, SDL_image, SDL_gfx, SDL_net; and the audio handling unit BASS. As of the moment, the game counts 2525 lines, what equals over 212KiB of code. Until awful, it was my biggest project. The player takes role of widely-known and well-liked RTP Alex (hence the name of the game). The player's task is, using his trusty handgun - and bonuses dropping from killed enemies - to, as long as possible, keep hordes of monsters that keep on coming from all sides from getting to his butt. The game lacks any kind of plot - its only goal is having fun, scoring achievements and beating the hi-scores.
Alexland, just like Puzelki, comes with a language handling system. If someone would like to translate the game - send me the effects of your work easily, I'll happily add them to the program's standard resources.
